The celebration of Carnival in February; or March during Easter Time; or the Pachamama ceremony during August, are some of the many cultural alternatives offered by the Province.

In La Puna, a faithful reflection of the High Andean Plateau, you can find traces of people who sealed milestones in Argentina and South America, such as the Inca Trail or manifestations of rock art, petroglyphs and archaeological remains from various origins. The town of Yavi, where lived the only Marquess of Argentina. The Yungas with their customs, legends and rituals are totally different from those of the Andean peoples. In this region live the descendants of the Ava Guarani and San Francisco cultures, so lush and fantastic are these peoples, as the forest where they live and belong to.

The Valleys, faithful witnesses of the historical past of Jujuy, offer museums, with testimonials and relics of a unique historical and cultural value.
