I did this trip two years ago with a group of retirees. I must admit that they were very funny people and had a lot of energy, even more than I did sometimes. 

It was an 18-hour drive from Buenos Aires to Misiones and they only stopped laughing, singing and dancing on the bus when it was time to sleep. 

They perfectly applied for the phrase "youth is only an attitude of the soul."

My travel goals 9 of 23: Misiones and the Falls.

During this trip we visit the Iguazú Falls, located on the border between Argentina and Brazil. 

These falls are declared a World Heritage Site and are considered one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. They deserve their titles because they are absolutely wonderful and incredible .

You can visit the falls on both sides, the Argentine and the Brazilian side. The view from Argentina is more panoramic and you can see them from the front, while on the Brazilian side the view is from above.

The day of the visit to the Argentine side was dreamed of, the hot weather and rainbows everywhere. It was excellent. I couldn't believe where so much water came from hahahahaha. I was mesmerized watching him fall without stopping.

But the day we went to the Brazilian side, the weather was very ugly, it was raining and it was gray.

Since I don't have a good photo of this day, I want to share a photo from the web so that you know what I am talking about.

This trip was really beautiful, the Iguazu falls are awesome and a landscape that I could always look at for how wonderful it is. I hope that one day you can meet them, you will not regret it .

Well, friends, I've reached my last post in my #travelgoal section (for now). So far, I've visited 9 of the 23 provinces!

All that's left is to wait for the pandemic to end and tourism to resume. I'm really looking forward to seeing what other landscapes my beautiful country has to offer!

We did this trip in the fall of last year after going to Bariloche, in Río Negro. To get there we did the so-called "Road of the Seven Lakes", on Route 40. This route crosses almost all of Argentina (before this trip I had no idea about this). On this journey I saw the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. I just couldn't believe that those places were real and right before my eyes.

San Martin de los Andes.

San Martín de los Andes is a city that is located on the shores of Lake Nacar. It is a very quiet place, or so it seemed to us when we went. 

Everything was beautiful, but we were surprised by the respect for pedestrians they have. 

We actually put one foot on the street and the vehicles would stop and let you cross. Something never seen before in Buenos Aires .

La Islita, a small island with a unique history. 

Then we went to "La Islita". It was literally a little island. I have a very funny anecdote. 

Not wanting to ask anyone how to get there, we looked for the way on Google Maps and it threw us a route that said it lasted two hours on foot. 

As we were in good physical condition, we said "okay, two hours walking will not be a problem for us." 

So we set off and actually walked two hours there. We had a lot of fun on the way because we went through forests and laughed at the experience. 

When we finally got to "La Islita", we saw that there was a shorter way to get to the center of the city and it literally took 15 minutes to get back because it was much more direct. 

It was obviously a shortcut that didn't appear on the map. 

We couldn't believe it. Anyway, we had the anecdote to tell our friends . 

A beautiful place also in autumn. 

This place was really beautiful. 

As we went in Autumn there was no snow, but I would like to return to see what the city is like when it is covered in white.

Facebook reminded me that two years ago I was happily enjoying the Oktoberfest celebration in Villa General Belgrano’s city. This fest takes place every year and 2018 was the first year that I went there. I hope I’ll go again. 

This trip was really improvised. One day I went to the bank to solve a doubt and there they told me that I had another bank account in which

I had approx 5000ARS from my scholarship. I didn’t remember that. It was a big surprise to me! 

On those days my friends wanted to go to the Oktoberfest so I joined them and I paid for the trip with that money.

The trip was organized by a young-people tourism company. So, all was a party since we took the bus to get there. I came with three friends but these days we know a lot of new people.

As you’ll imagine, in the “beer party” there are a lot of parties and a lot of beer. In those days the city of Villa General Belgrano turns in geman colours and people celebrating, drinking, dancing and drinking a bit more.

Despite the streets being full of people and music, the official celebration takes place in the “brewery estate” of the city. There are food trucks and beer, concerts and games as in an amusement park. People there are really happy. How could they not?

Córdoba’s province has precious mountainous landscapes. 

I already visited it before and it’s a beautiful place to take a rest. But I got to say to you if that is your plan, you shouldn’t go to Villa General Belgrano in times of Oktoberfest.
