Cordoba Oktoberfest

Facebook reminded me that two years ago I was happily enjoying the Oktoberfest celebration in Villa General Belgrano’s city. This fest takes place every year and 2018 was the first year that I went there. I hope I’ll go again.

This trip was really improvised. One day I went to the bank to solve a doubt and there they told me that I had another bank account in which

The Oktoberfest celebration in Villa General Belgrano’s city.

I had approx 5000ARS from my scholarship. I didn’t remember that. It was a big surprise to me!

On those days my friends wanted to go to the Oktoberfest so I joined them and I paid for the trip with that money.

The trip was organized by a young-people tourism company. So, all was a party since we took the bus to get there. I came with three friends but these days we know a lot of new people.

Octoberfest

As you’ll imagine, in the “beer party” there are a lot of parties and a lot of beer. In those days the city of Villa General Belgrano turns in geman colours and people celebrating, drinking, dancing and drinking a bit more.

The city's beer district.

Despite the streets being full of people and music, the official celebration takes place in the “brewery estate” of the city. There are food trucks and beer, concerts and games as in an amusement park. People there are really happy. How could they not?

Córdoba’s province has precious mountainous landscapes.

I already visited it before and it’s a beautiful place to take a rest. But I got to say to you if that is your plan, you shouldn’t go to Villa General Belgrano in times of Oktoberfest.

Hello everyone, on this occasion I want to share with you all the memory of a beautiful trip through the province of Córdoba, ARGENTINA, as you can see from where I was Hera the 6th. of an apartment building, this photo we see is at dawn, and on the horizon you can see the hills and mountains, with the tops of the white clouds, thus revealing a beautiful landscape.

With the sun now rising, from this distance and height you can see this river, called the Cosquín River. It is a fast-flowing river that runs right through the city, located in a valley called the Punillas Valley. Over it, there are several bridges like the ones you can see.

Friends, in this other photo we see a building on the horizon, further back the mountains, as if they were covered with a blanket, THE CLOUDS - hahaha, personally it's my imagination.

The truth is, friends, this is an excellent place to enjoy a few days with the family. For example, this photo is from another angle, where part of the plateaus come together and in the background on the horizon another mountain, leaving and illustrating what MOTHER NATURE reflects and exhibits, which is the greatest creation of our LORD GOD.

Located on the western boundary of Cordoba, the Sierra Grande has the highest hill of the province: the Champaquí, 2790 meters.

The Punilla and Calamuchita separate that chain Sierra Chica.

The peasants call "pampilla" the plateau that crowns the hill, near which there is a circular lake.

In his Caminos Argentina (1940), the prominent novelist César Carrizo Rioja (1889-1950), tells a poetic climb the mountain in the company of Don Rosendo de Tejeda and Cabrera: "Pastors as in the days of Abraham; vaque¬ros who herd their cattle; women black eyes and long braid, which very well have gotten the Marqués de Santillana for their serranillas; lion hunters scurry through the cliffs, followed by his jau¬ría, and farmers who sow their land, greet us with hat in hand ".

champaqui-2048x1536

The Champaquí hill located in the western sector of the Sierras de Córdoba known as Sierras Grandes, immediately east of this summit is the Valle de Calamuchita while extending west Traslasierra Valley.

Montes Pacheco first makes a reference to the translation indicating "Water Summit" and then tries that found that would be related to the work of channeling irrigation water by champas. Idea suggested by Domingo A. Bravo, who sees champached function, ie, the "champero or champeador" as Quechua, an answer to the mystery.
