Survival suit the ship Sir Galahad
Survival suit used to leave the ship Sir Galahad after being attacked by the Air Force Argentina and before sinking. It was used by a Royal Marine Commando Logistic Regiment during the war.
The survivors were transferred to HMS Intrepid. The attack on June 8 was the bloodiest of the war and the Argentine naval attack led to lower Britain.
