This lake is surrounded by coihue woods and its waters are relatively warm because it is mainly sourced from rainfall, not melting snow.

That is why it is one of the favorite destinations to take a swim and practice water sports.

  1. I would like to highlight and recommend the solitary beach of Lake Gutiérrez.

This paradisiac corner of Bariloche can only be reached by boat or by a low-difficulty mountain trail, after passing through a forest of lengas and a short stretch of steep slopes.

    Excellent article.

    Regards.

    1. Thanks for comment @Marisa Belén Repetto.

It is a very accessible place. This lake is about 15 km. from the center of Bariloche. It can be reached by vehicle, on asphalt.

There are campsites, small beaches and a paleontological museum. In the area you can also take tours of the forest, horseback riding and try your luck with fishing.
